Hosting Rules

  • While I am all for freedom of expression and speech, certain types of content are not allowed at Freaky.nu. These include pornographic material, warez, and promotion of racism, homophobia, sexism and similar topics.

  • My word is final:
         (a) If your application for hosting isn't accepted, do not send me hate mail. In any case that would only tell me that I was right to refuse you. I only have limited space, so I can't host everyone.
         (b) If I have a serious problem with your site content (ie. it has one of the above prohibited elements) I will let you know and request you to remove it. If you refuse, I may have to terminate your hosting.

  • You may not use your webspace at Freaky.nu to store files not used in your site. Neither may files be direct linked to another site (Buttons and banners for use in a banner exchange or similar are the exception to this).

  • Your site must carry the appropriate disclaimers at all times. Any content not created by yourself must be displayed with permission, and your source must be credited. Any hostee found to have copied another site's design or content without permission may be subject to having hosting terminated.

  • If you decide to give your site up, or move elsewhere, please let me know - that way I can offer out your place to someone else.

  • You must display a text or button link back to this site on at least your splash, or front page.

  • You must provide an email address for use on the Hostees mailing list (this list is used to notify you of any important server issues, etc).

  • You should be willing to participate in the hostee blog, which is powered by Blogger. You will be expected to be courteous to your fellow hostees.

  • You should be aware that I will contact you if it becomes apparant that you are exceeding your space to the detriment of other hostees, or if your site specifically is causing the domain to exceed its bandwidth limit. If this does happen, you should be willing to discuss a way to resolve the problem so that we can find the best solution for all concerned.
  • If you meet the Requirements, and can follow the above Rules, then go ahead and Apply.
